STATEMENT
As a practicing visual artist, curation allows me to grow my artistic practice into a place where I can better work with research, conversations, and collecting. Since my artistic work handles different themes like nature, womanhood, and cultural identity, I am interested in understanding and shaping how artworks work with each other in certain settings, and how I can put that dialogue in context for the audience. For me, curation is a way for me to bring work into context, and bring to light new meanings in art.
