Gudrun Barenbrock has been developing video installations for 20 years. She photographs and films arrangements and structures, movements and systems. With her camera, she observes natural landscapes as well as urban ones, organic as well as industrial, macro as well as micro contexts. She desaturates and oversaturates, scales light values and contrasts, examines forms and gradients, adds or removes. This results in digital image fabrics, which she displays as large-format projections.
