STATEMENT
Curating should be joyful. My training is as an artist, but more than ten years at the Ludwig Foundation of Cuba have driven a curatorial practice that has allowed me to understand art through collaboration rather than egocentrism. In this transition I discover the value of shared ideas, of listening and dialogue as territories where creation ceases to be individual property and becomes a collective exercise. I approach curating as a natural extension of my artistic practice: a space where visions complement, transform, and enrich one another, because I believe in an art that is born from—and belongs to—everyone.
